SunSky Energy announces purchase of new downtown Ithaca, NY corporate office building and public showroom- 2/10/2011

SunSky Energy is proud to announce that its future corporate offices and public showroom will be located at 371 Elmira Road in Ithaca, NY. The facility is currently undergoing major “green” renovations and hopes to be open in late 2011. SunSky Energy Chief Operating Officer, Richard Parker, explains, “We are very excited about our Elmira Road facility. The site has been in dire need of some attention for quite some time and this is a perfect opportunity for us to showcase our energy conscious products & services.  We want to be a part of the local communities efforts to take existing buildings and retrofit them to make the more progressive, more efficient… and quite simply, ‘better’.  This building will raise the bar on Elmira Road when its complete.” The 371 Elmira road location will also offer leases to a few other retail outfits, featuring energy efficient and renewable resource utilization such as passive solar and radiant floor heating.

SunSky Energy, LLC recently acquired BlueStar Heating, Plumbing, and Electric, adding it to their family of businesses. BlueStar was founded in the Ithaca, NY. BlueStar has provided years of first rate service in the Tompkins and Cortland counties, building a reputation for excellence in the local community.
